Billy Nelson

 Billy Nelson drives the 77 Credit Awareness Chevrolet. Billy started his racing career in 2002. After not finding a league to his satisfaction Billy started up =911= Racin. There he hired Dave Neto, Bryan Glynn, Monte Simmons, and Vance Backe to represent the league as it's premiere drivers.

 That was to be short lived as a move put Billy Nelson out of high speed for a matter of a year and half. Billy was able to get back into racing in February of 2005 but his fledgling racing league had gone under in his absence.

 Billy reuinted with his old racing friends at Grass Roots Racing. He has been there ever since. He started racing on the same team as former racing team mate Dave Neto. At the end of Season 2 he parted way with Dave and formed his own racing team, Fast Lane Racing. Bringing on board two team mates from OFR and signing Don Austin to join them.

 Fast Lane Racing finished 4th in over all team standings for their first season. That is pretty good for a fledgling team and they look to only improve upon those results in 2006.
